Another update on that damn molar — about two days after I saw the oral surgeon, my tooth began to ache again. It had been pain free for a couple of days, and I was able to go back to work. But starting Monday afternoon, and into Tuesday morning, the ache returned and quickly returned to a similar level as before.
So, and I know my diabetic women friends will understand why I’m frustrated, I am on my third round of antibiotics in about 25 days. (Antibiotics can aid in creating yeast infections. I haven’t had to worry about this for years, but after 25 days of antibiotics, I sense Diflucan in my future.)
So, apparently, the tooth is infected once again, and instead of Keflex or amoxycillin, I’m taking Augmentin. What fun. Oh, well — things could be much, much worse, and I’m very happy that they aren’t. More on this soon.
